With Shredder 11 UCI you get the latest and best version of the Shredder family that exists since 1993 and the latest version of the Shredder user interface for Windows.

Shredder 11 UCI will also work on computers with multiple processors or one processor with multiple cores but will only use one processor or core for his calculations. For a further performance increase on those machines you need Deep Shredder 11 UCI. This is also true if you are using Windows x64, as a 64 bit Shredder 11 engine is included in Deep Shredder 11 UCI.

Shredder 11 UCI runs on all Windows PCs with at least Windows 2000 including Windows Vista.

The chess programs Shredder Classic 3, Shredder 11 UCI and Deep Shredder 11 UCI for Windows combine extremely powerful chess play with easy handling. The level of play of the program can be adjusted to any chess playing strength, so that everyone can find an adequate chess partner. Many functions are available for analysing one's own chess games, including a built-in chess coach, who is alert to mistakes and helps improve your chess play.
