Three American students studying art in Rome are drawn into a grim world of torture and suffering in director Eli Roth's gruesome sequel to the horror hit that shocked the world. Determined to get out of the classroom and experience Europe firsthand, three American students pack their bags for a relaxing weekend getaway. As they prepare for their trip, however, the coeds soon cross paths with a beautiful model from one of their classes. It appears that she, too, is preparing for a vacation that promises to be both relaxing and rejuvenating, and a generous invitation to follow along ultimately proves too tempting for the adventurous Americans to pass up.
