Imbsen XTRACT v3.0.3 - Tool for Analysis of Structural Cross Sections

Imbsen XTRACT v3.0.3 - Analysis of Structural Cross Sections
11 MB Compressed RAR File | OS: Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP

FORMERLY KNOWN AS UCFYBER, XTRACT FEATURES a fully interactive program for the analysis of structural cross sections.

Description:
FORMERLY KNOWN AS UCFYBER, XTRACT FEATURES a fully interactive program for the analysis of structural cross sections. Using cutting edge nonlinear analysis algorithms, XTRACT can generate Moment Curvatures, Axial Force-Moment Interactions, and Moment-Moment Interactions for Unconfined and Confined Concrete, Steel, Prestressed, and Composite structural elements. It can handle the input and analysis of any arbitrary cross section (even with holes) made up of any material input from the available nonlinear material models.

XTRACT has been used on many high profile projects for both buildings and bridges ranging from analysis of the existing columns for the Salt Lake City, City Hall seismic upgrade project to analysis of the suspension bridge columns on the Carquinez Strait bridge in the San Francisco bay area. In addition, XTRACT has also been used in the design of the temporary bypass structure for the new San Francisco-Oakland Bay bridge as well as in numerous state transportation agencies across the country and abroad in other countries.

General Features:
QUICK ANALYSIS OF STANDARD SECTIONS from the easy-to-use interactive template library makes section analysis very fast. Within minutes, the user can define a section and perform a nonlinear section analysis. The template sections include Circular and Rectangular Columns, Rectangular Beams, Beams with Slabs, Rectangular Walls with Boundary Zones, and Encased Composite Circular Sections.

ANALYSIS OF ARBITRARY SECTIONS is where the the power of XTRACT really shines thanks to its point and click environment. Any section that can be drawn on the computer can be discretized using the automatic mesh generation capabilities of XTRACT. XTRACT analysis options provide a realistic estimation of the structural nonlinear properties and critical engineering design parameters of the arbitrary structural section.

XTRACT offers FIVE NONLINEAR MATERIAL MODELS that are used commonly in high performance engineering: Mander Models for Unconfined and Confined Concrete, Bilinear Steel, Bilinear Steel with Parabolic Strain Hardening, Menegotto Pinto. In addition to these, XTRACT provides the versatility to model any other material through the User Defined material model. The User Defined material model can be used to accurately model Kevlar, Carbon Fiber Wrap, Masonry, High Strength Concrete, etc. Created User Defined materials are easily ported to all XTRACT users in the design office producing an interoffice standard library of material models.

SECTION ANALYSIS in XTRACT is quick and easy. XTRACT can analyze any number of sections subjected to any number of section analyses. Moment Curvatures at various performance levels, Axial Force-Moment Interactions at user defined target strains, and Moment-Moment Interactions under applied axial loads can all be done easily within a production framework.

INTERFACE AND DATA ORGANIZATION for all sections, analyses, materials, graphics and data are available using a tree view Project Manager for easy access, manipulation, and extraction. This powerful tool for organization makes the large quantities of XTRACT data output easily manageable.

READY REPORT GENERATION is provided for Material, Section, and Analysis output. The full color professional quality reports capture critical input and engineering results from each analysis.
