Differently than other programs Direct Backup works always in the background and saves new and changed files into a freely selectable folder with a delay of maximally one minute. It is possible to store the files in another folder every day. Also optionally up to nine releases of a file can be safeguarded. With these options an access on former file releases is very simple. Backup files of the day before can be compressed in a ZIP-folder.

On the other hand Classic Backup is a conventional backup program. It executes complete, differential and incremental backups. The popular file formats Zip and Cabinet are used. Writes the data optionally with the help of Nero Burning Rom or the built-in burning-function of Windows XP on CDs. The backup data can extend over several variation mediums. Offer complete support of networks. So for example a backup of a laptop connected at the PC can finished quickly and simply by a double-click.
